Day 4… dreaded Day 4… but it’s done! Day 4 parameters were as follows:
Bananas and skim milk – Eat as many as 8 bananas, and 8 glasses of skim milk or weight watchers yogurt if you aren’t a milk drinker, since it’s basically artificially flavoured skim milk. Yes, bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates, but on this day your body will need the essential calcium and carbs and protein that will lessen your craving for sweets.
Here’s Day 4 check in!
I always consider Day 4 the hardest day for me… but I have to say that I found it easier than vegetable day! I felt fuller, and yes the menu is very bland and repetitious, but I definitely didn’t struggle as much as I thought I would. I may have even found it a bit easier than yesterday, because I felt like I was fuller, and after three days of nothing but fruits and vegetables, I welcomed that full feeling. It also helped that I was doing meal prep last night, for today, and I’ve never been more excited to cook chicken in my life. I am not a milk drinker, so I opted for the yogurt, and I had all 8 bananas and all 8 servings of yogurt. I alternated them pretty evenly throughout the day. For drinks, I had black coffee, water and one herbal tea (more so to warm up than anything… it was cold in the office yesterday!)
Like me, the second brave soul opted for yogurt instead of milk too. She managed to get through five bananas, and like me, doesn’t want to see another banana again. Ever. It gets to the point where the consistency is just… gag. She had a café mocha and made it through banana and yogurt day! We both were very much looking forward to having chicken today.
Tune in tomorrow to see how Day 5 has gone for the both of us!
