Day 6 reflections: For me, this was day two of chicken and vegetables, and the same as yesterday I really had no problem with this day. I again substituted an egg white for chicken in the morning so I could have an omelette for breakfast, but for lunch I had chicken stir fry, and a chicken salad for supper. I only had chicken, no turkey, and same as yesterday (since I forgot to add my breakdown) my veggies of choice were spinach, green pepper, onion, banana pepper, jalapeno, romaine lettuce, carrots, black olives, celery, red pepper, mushrooms, and cucumber. I do have to say I feel more energetic, and most of my normal food cravings are gone and have been replaced with other cravings. I’m looking forward to having some cantaloupe or a fruit smoothie. And I’m figuring out new things I can incorporate into my regular eating habits to take some of what I’ve learned with me onward… where it really will make a difference long term.
