You know what the best part about Day Six is? It's only one day away from Day 7! Day Six instructions were: Fowl and Veggies – Don’t be shy, eat to your heart’s content filling up with Chicken, Turkey and Vegetables – no potatoes today! My co-worker and I both found Day Six honestly to be a walk in the park. When you spend four days eating nothing but fruits, vegetables and skim milk on one day, being able to eat meat is a real treat! Not to mention it's shocking how quickly it fills you up! Both of us took advantage of making some stir fry, as well as having chicken and veggies at work. I made a casserole of sorts with ground chicken and vegetables for lunch, and for supper I had a great chicken veggie stir fry, and the only thing I gave up from how I normally would eat it is that I skipped the rice! I'm feeling a change in my appetite... I'm not able to eat at much as I used to. I'm also noticing the weird cravings I would get sometimes for junk food doesn't really seem to be there anymore. Don't get me wrong, there's definitely food that I'm looking forward to having again... like potatoes (probably because like every other day I'm reading "no potatoes"... so like an obstinate teenager it makes me want them more!) Now that it's been a few days since I've been allowed to have fruit, I'm REALLY craving pineapple. And my usual yogurt. I guess it is true when they say that if you get in the habit of feeding your body the good stuff, eventually that's what your body will crave, instead of chips or chocolate!
