Today’s Meet the Staff person is Sandra Lawson!  Sandra works out of our Saint John, New Brunswick office for over 35 years now as the Benefits Bank Supervisor, working with the New Brunswick unions. Sandra answers calls from members regarding their coverage, hours received, and claims remitted. She also takes payments at the front desk and is one of the first people you see when you visit Belmont New Brunswick. Sandra has a wealth of patience when it comes to helping members understand their plan, plan rules and benefits covered under their plan. Sandra also works with Trustees to answer any questions they may have, as well as a support for the pension department.  Here are a few random questions we asked Sandra!

 

Q:  At which store would you like to max-out your credit card (go ahead and assume someone else will be paying it off!)? 

A:  Costco

Q:  What has been the best Wellness challenge at Belmont Health & Wealth, and what challenges would you like to see in the future (either new or one we’ve done before)?

Q:  How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?

A:  8 years

Q:  What are your three favourite things about working at Belmont Health & Wealth (or more… if you can’t choose!)?

A:  The People, the Benefits (Christmas Holidays, Belmont Events).   A relaxed atmosphere knowing that if you work hard and do a good job you are appreciated.
