Day 4

Day 4

You can read what Day 4 is about here Day 4 Parameters:  Bananas and Milk – Eat as many as eight bananas, and 8 glasses of skim milk or Weight Watchers yogurt if you aren’t a milk drinker, since it’s basically artificially flavoured skim milk. Yes, bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates, but on this day your body will need the essential calcium and carbs and protein that will lessen your craving for sweets.

Day 4 Reflections: I’m not craving sweets, I’m craving nachos… and I’m pretty sure bananas aren’t going to cure that! Today’s feast consisted of bananas…. And skim milk. That was it. And I’ll be honest… I really didn’t think I was going to make it through this day without some major cheating (that I was debating whether or not I’d be honest about in my blog….). After supper last night, as I was putting away leftovers, I fully intended to make something healthy and hot to eat for supper. I was almost there… and then in a last ditch effort to keep myself on track, I did something that I told myself I wouldn’t do until this week was completely over: I weighed myself. And I was very surprised, in a good way. So much so, in fact, that I’m happy to say it kept me on track!

The easiest thing about Day 4: Having a banana and a glass of milk, even skim milk, really makes you feel full… so it made it easier. I ended up only eating 4 bananas and having 4 glasses of milk.

The hardest thing about Day 4: Again I have to say cooking supper for everyone else, and putting leftovers away without eating any of it!
