Today’s Meet the Staff person is Sandra Lawson!  Sandra works out of our Saint John, New Brunswick office for over 40 years now as the Benefits Bank Supervisor, working with the New Brunswick unions. Sandra answers calls from members regarding their coverage, hours received, and claims remitted. She also takes payments at the front desk and is one of the first people you see when you visit Belmont New Brunswick. Sandra has a wealth of patience when it comes to helping members understand their plan, plan rules and benefits covered under their plan. Sandra also works with Trustees to answer any questions they may have, as well as a support for the pension department.  Here are a few random questions we asked Sandra!

 

Q:  What was your first job?

A:  Barnes & Hopkins putting together phone books.  Summer job, I was 17.

Q:  If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?

A:  Life

Q:  If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?  

A:  Seeing the future.

Q:  How do you balance your life?

A:  I don’t know it just happens
